Tree & Lawn Company WordPress Build
A WordPress website upgrade for a commercial tree surgery and grounds maintenance business, built around clearer service journeys, sector content and enquiry routes.

Tree & Lawn Company needed a site that could do more than look tidy. The project had to support commercial service pathways, local landing pages and a more credible route from search or referral traffic into an enquiry.
Where I fit
I worked on the WordPress build at Mosaic, translating the agreed direction into templates, reusable content patterns and responsive page sections. The wider Mosaic team led the strategy, creative direction, content and client management; my contribution was making the site behave cleanly in the browser and stay practical in the admin.
The brief
The brief was to make the business easier to understand for both domestic and commercial audiences, with enough structure for service, sector and local pages to work without each page feeling like a one-off.
What I built
- Custom WordPress page templates for service-led content and conversion routes.
- Reusable content sections for service, sector and location pages.
- Responsive front-end implementation with attention to scanning, calls to action and page rhythm.
- Admin structure that supports ongoing content and SEO work without relying on fragile layouts.
Build notes
- Commercial service pathways needed to feel obvious without making domestic visitors feel secondary.
- The build needed enough consistency for repeatable landing pages, but enough flexibility for different service angles.
- This was a good example of WordPress being used as a structured content system, not just a place to paste page copy.
What the site needed to make easier
The finished site gives the business a calmer way to explain what it does, where it operates and which services fit each customer type. For editors, the important win is that new content can sit inside an established structure rather than needing a fresh layout decision every time.
